BP is hoping the latest effort to cap the leak in the Gulf of Mexico will be finished in 3 days, but oil has already reached the shores of neighbouring states.

The operation known as "cut and cap" was delayed for half a day when a saw became stuck in a thick pipe on the sea bed. President Obama, has used the oil leak to urge Congress to pass a bill which would support clean energy.
