The stock hit a high of Rs 147.55 and a low of Rs 141.60 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 194 on 5 June 2009 and a 52-week low of Rs 60.10 on 6 March 2009. The sale would help expansion plans at Essar, with $15 billion of revenues, controlled by brothers Shashi and Ravi Ruia.
