NEW DELHI, March 16 (Reuters) - India's edible oil importsare expected to rise 46.3 percent in the fiscal year to March,the junior food minister told parliament on Tuesday.

Edible oil imports were likely to rise to 9.8 milliontonnes in 2009/10 from 6.7 million tonnes a year ago, K.V.Thomas said in a written reply.
