A company wanting to build a multi–billion dollar oil pipeline across Nebraska may be the victim of guilt by association. At least that's what some experts are saying about Transcanada's Keystone X–L pipeline. This company is waiting on government approval for the last leg of its project which would pass through Nebraska.

Some blame the delay in approval on negative publicity regarding the oil rig explosion and other spills. Transcanada hoped to start laying pipe by the end of this year.
