NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Crude futures are higher Thursday, underpinned by a firmer opening for U.S. stock markets and a weaker dollar. Light, sweet crude for February delivery recently traded 48 cents, or 0.6%, higher at $77.15 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
