U.S. crude oil stocks jump; distillates down - EIA - Reuters India

NEW YORK, March 3 (Reuters) - U.S. crude oil stockpiles rose more thanforecast last week as imports were still rising while distillate fuelinventories fell, U.S. Energy Information Administration data showed onWednesday.

Commercial crude oil stockpiles in the United States increased by 4.1million barrels to 341.6 million barrels in the week ended Feb. 26, EIAreported. Industry group data on Tuesday also showed a larger-than-forecastrise. Analysts polled by Reuters earlier this week had projected crude oilinventories would show a build of 1.4 million barrels.
